Whenever people tell me what they love about Hindley, green spaces are always near the top of the list. Parks, woodlands and open spaces help make this a great place to live and raise a family.

As our area grows, we need to make sure development is balanced with protecting the environment and preserving the character of our communities. Growth should improve local life, not come at the expense of the things people value most.

Making Hindley Feel Safer

Time and time again, I’ve heard concerns about antisocial behaviour and crime. Most people in Hindley are hardworking, decent people who take pride in their community. They shouldn’t have to put up with behaviour that damages neighbourhoods or makes people feel unsafe.

That’s why I want stronger local partnerships between police, councils and community organisations to tackle persistent problems and make sure local people feel safe and respected where they live.

My Pledges To Hindley

  • Infrastructure before development
  • Better healthcare provision
  • Safer streets and town centres
